The Sr HR Representative is responsible for partnering with diverse client groups to deliver proactive HR solutions and ensuring the day to day functioning of Human Resources. The role will collaborate with the business as an HR subject matter expert in the delivery of HR services to include, employee relations, organization design and development, communications, compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, and employee development.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Partner with business around employee relations, organization design and development, communications, compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, and employee development.

• Establish and support a positive employee relations climate, open channels of communication, and partnering to resolve site and employee issues.

• Ensure government regulations, policies, procedures and practices are followed in the most effective manner possible

• Deliver programs focused on increasing organizational, team, and individual performance.

• Responsible for driving critical leadership behaviors that support site and business needs.

• Execution of consistent practices/programs and implementing change/continuous improvement initiatives.

• Employee onboarding, development, needs assessment, and training

• Recruiting and staffing support; manage recruitment tools

• Reporting (internal/external to HR)

• HR Process Improvement

• Performance Management and systems improvement

• Policy development and documentation

• HR communications

• Work on special assignments as they arise

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications

• Approachable and responsive resource able to connect with employees at all levels

• Demonstrated ability to influence.

• Ability to collaborate and influence management

• Demonstrated presentation and facilitation skills

• Demonstrated success in conflict resolution.

• Translate business needs into plans of action

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet specific, time sensitive tasks within a fast paced environment

• Comfortable with high volume workload and able to manage multiple priorities

• Strong internal and external customer service focus, with a genuine desire to assist others

• Strong project management and complex problem-solving skills

• Strong presentation skills and facilitation experience to effectively deliver a variety of HR-related training programs to groups of managers / colleagues

• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

• Strong attention to detail

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

• Minimum 5 years of experience in HR

• Proficiency with HRIS systems

• Proficiency with Microsoft office (strong Excel skills preferred
